
Makassar — The Marine Science Study Program of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science (FPIK), Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI), conducted the 2026 Internal Quality Audit (AMI) as part of its ongoing efforts to maintain and improve the quality of higher education delivery.
The Internal Quality Audit was held at the Marine Science Study Program Office from 24–27 August 2026. The audit serves as an important instrument within UMI’s Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) to evaluate the implementation of standards in education, research, community service, and study program governance.
Through the audit process, the Marine Science Study Program reviewed various aspects of academic implementation, including document compliance, the implementation of learning activities, the achievement of quality standards, and the identification of opportunities for future quality improvement.
The activity also served as an important momentum for the Marine Science Study Program to strengthen its culture of quality and ensure that all educational processes are carried out in accordance with the standards and regulations established by Universitas Muslim Indonesia.
Through the implementation of the 2026 Internal Quality Audit, the Marine Science Study Program of FPIK UMI is expected to continue its efforts toward continuous improvement and enhance the quality of academic services for students and all stakeholders.
The Marine Science Study Program of FPIK UMI remains committed to providing quality and innovative education while supporting the sustainable development of marine resources.
