Makassar — The Aquaculture Study Program of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science (FPIK), Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI), conducted the 2026 Internal Quality Audit (AMI) as part of its commitment to achieving continuous improvement in the quality of education.
The Internal Quality Audit was conducted at the Aquaculture Study Program Office from 20–24 August 2026. The implementation of the AMI is an important part of the internal quality evaluation and control process, ensuring that academic and non-academic activities are carried out in accordance with established standards.
The audit covered various important aspects, including study program governance, the implementation of education and learning, resource management, research and community service activities, as well as the achievement of other quality standards.
Through this activity, the Aquaculture Study Program evaluated various programs and activities that have been implemented while identifying areas that need further improvement as part of the continuous improvement process.
The implementation of the AMI is expected to further strengthen the culture of quality within the Aquaculture Study Program and encourage improvements in the quality of education to produce competent and competitive graduates.
With a spirit of continuous improvement, the Aquaculture Study Program of FPIK UMI remains committed to maintaining and enhancing the quality of education while supporting the sustainable development of fisheries resources and aquaculture.
